About Next Life RP

Next Life RP began development in 2023, shortly after the release of Arma Reforger. Our vision has always been clear: create a roleplay modification made for and by the community it serves. We're pushing the boundaries of what's possible in roleplay gaming, focusing on the smallest details, innovative features, and most importantly, ensuring everyone can have fun.

Our mod represents a never-before-seen approach to RP, where every detail matters and every interaction feels authentic. We're not just building a game modification; we're crafting a living, breathing world where stories unfold naturally and memories are made.

Block Island Setting

Next Life RP is set on Block Island, part of the beautiful state of Rhode Island. While we're not creating an exact replica, our development team works diligently to comply with local Rhode Island regulations and maintain the authentic feel of the region.

Our Block Island serves as the perfect backdrop for immersive roleplay scenarios, offering diverse landscapes, realistic infrastructure, and countless opportunities for character development and community interaction.

Development Timeline & Pre-Alpha

We're excited to announce that Next Life RP is planning a closed pre-alpha phase in late summer 2025. This exclusive testing period will allow select community members to experience our world before the official launch.

Pre-Alpha Details

• Free participation - Pre-alpha access will be completely free and exempt from any one-time fees
• Grandfathered citizenship - Pre-alpha participants will retain their citizenship status without future payment requirements
• Exclusive testing - Help shape the final product through closed testing and feedback
• Community building - Be part of the founding community that establishes Next Life RP culture

Future Monetization

Important note: The implementation of a paywall for new citizens is still under review. No permanent decisions have been made regarding future monetization models. We're committed to finding a balance that supports development while maintaining accessibility for our community.

Available Factions & Roles

During the pre-alpha phase, we're focusing on establishing core emergency services that form the backbone of any thriving community. Additional factions and departments will be introduced as the server grows and evolves.

Future Expansions

While our initial focus is on Sheriff Department and Fire Rescue services, we have exciting plans for additional factions including:

• Department of Justice (DOJ) - Legal system and court proceedings
• Coast Guard - Maritime safety and enforcement
• Additional specialized units - Based on community needs and development progress

Note: Some of these factions may be present with minimum capacity during pre-alpha for testing purposes.

Code of Conduct

Our Code of Conduct forms the foundation of the Next Life RP community. By joining our community, you agree to uphold these standards and contribute to a welcoming environment for all citizens.

1. Respect

• Respect for Others: Treat all Next Life RP community members with courtesy and respect. Avoid offensive language, harassment, or discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, or any other factors.
• Respect for Staff: Follow the instructions of Next Life RP moderators and administrators. They are here to ensure a fair and enjoyable environment for everyone.

2. Roleplaying Standards

• In-Game Roleplay: Engage in immersive and realistic roleplaying scenarios. Stay in character and avoid disruptive behavior that breaks the immersion for others.
• Realism: Follow realistic and appropriate roleplaying standards. This includes realistic communication, actions, and interactions within the context of the RP universe.

3. Communication

• In-Game Communication: Use appropriate in-game communication channels for roleplay. OOC (Out-of-Character) communication is not allowed during active roleplay.
• Discord/Forums: Respectful communication extends to our Discord server and forums. Keep discussions civil, and refrain from spam, trolling, or any other disruptive behavior.

4. Integrity

• Cheating and Exploits: Do not use cheats, hacks, or exploits. Maintain the integrity of the game and the Next Life RP community by reporting any issues to staff.
• Metagaming: Metagaming is not allowed. This includes using out-of-character information to gain an unfair advantage in-game.

5. Community Resources

• Intellectual Property: Respect the intellectual property of others. Do not use or distribute content without proper permissions.
• Community Resources: Contribute positively to the community. Share resources, knowledge, and support fellow community members.

6. Reporting

• Report Issues: If you encounter issues or violations of the Code of Conduct, report them to community staff promptly. Provide evidence when possible.

7. Consequences

• Violations: Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent expulsion from the community, depending on the severity of the offense.
